For me, the quest of the fine-art wildlife photographer is to capture the essence of the animal; it’s beauty and character. It is finding creative ways of combining light, composition and context that result in that image that is projected from those plains of the Serengeti or the Brazilian Pantanal as a talisman of the value of our natural world, to be cherished and nurtured.
By way of brief introduction, my main occupation is guiding people, who love taking photos, on safari. Whether you are a keen enthusiast, an iPhone snapper, or have loads of gear and want to advance your technical skills, I am your man.
As someone who lives surrounded by the daily colour and bustle of Tanzania, speaks the local language, and knows the wildlife areas inside out, I can organise a private safari, or a trip that caters for a group of friends in a way that really makes the most of the opportunities for excellent wildlife photography, and gets under the skin of this remarkable continent.
Stay a while and browse this hand-picked selection of images from my travels, all of which can be printed on canvas or as prints, or even on wood, aluminium or whatever other surface you can think of!
I also run the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards and the Comedy Pet Photo Awards. So have a look at them too. They are great fun!
Great to see you here and I hope you find what you are looking for. If not, please don't hesitate to pop me an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
